Understanding your dashboard
Who this is for: Any member who has created a profile and wants to get their bearings. What you'll learn: What the workspace home contains, how the sidebar works, and how your view changes depending on whether you are an Aspirant, Recruiter, or Service Provider.
Overview
When you log in and select your active profile, you land on your workspace — the main hub where you manage everything. On the left is a sidebar with navigation links tailored to your profile type. The central area shows the home page for your workspace, and the top bar gives you quick access to notifications and account options.
The sidebar navigation
The sidebar is your primary way to move around the platform. The links shown depend on which profile type is currently active. Here is a summary of what each profile type sees:
Aspirant (Talent or Crew)
- Home — Your workspace home page.
- Profile — View and edit your public profile.
- Email — Messages and correspondence within the platform.
- Showcase — Your video showreel and portfolio content.
- My Applied Jobs — A list of every job you have applied to, with their current status.
- Invitations — Event invitations addressed to you.
- Marketplace — Browse products and services from Service Providers.
- Search — Search for jobs, events, profiles, and Service Providers.
- My Drive — Your personal file storage area (Files, Shared to Me, Trash).
Recruiter
- Home — Your workspace home page.
- Profile — View and edit your public recruiter profile.
- Email — Messages within the platform.
- Create Project — A shortcut to start a new project.
- Search — Search for talent profiles, jobs, events, and Service Providers.
- Saved Profiles — Profiles you have bookmarked for later.
- Marketplace — Browse products and services.
- My Drive — Your personal file storage (Files, Shared to Me, Trash).
- Associated With — Projects, jobs, events, and Service Providers you are connected to.
Service Provider
- Home — Your workspace home page.
- Profile — View and edit your public business profile.
- Email — Messages within the platform.
- Marketplace — Your visibility in the marketplace and browsing other listings.
- Showcase — Your video portfolio.
- Search — Search for other Service Providers.
- My Catalogue — Manage your listed products and services (Catalogue overview, Products, Services).
- My Drive — Your personal file storage (Files, Shared to Me, Trash).
Two areas of the platform
The platform has two main areas you move between:
- Workspace — Your personal management area. Everything you own and manage lives here: your profile, your projects (Recruiters), your applications (Aspirants), your catalogue (Service Providers), your Drive, your emails.
- Explore — A browsable, outward-facing area for discovering other profiles, searching for jobs and events, and visiting the marketplace. All profile types have access to Explore through the Search and Marketplace links in their sidebar.
How to switch between profiles
If you have more than one profile on your account, tap your profile name or avatar at the top of the sidebar (or in the top bar) to open the profile switcher. Select the profile you want to work in and the workspace reloads for that profile.
What happens next
From your workspace home, start with the most important task for your profile type:
- Aspirant: Complete your profile, upload your Showcase, and browse jobs in Search.
- Recruiter: Create your first project, then add jobs to it.
- Service Provider: Fill in your profile, add products or services to your catalogue, and ensure you are visible in the marketplace.
Common questions
Why does the sidebar look different from what I see in a help video? The sidebar links are tailored to your active profile type. If you switch profiles, the navigation changes to match. Screenshots in help materials may also have been taken for a different profile type.
I cannot find a menu item I expected. Where did it go? Some features are only available once your profile is complete or your subscription is active. Check that your profile is fully filled in and that your subscription has not lapsed.
Can I customise the sidebar order? Not currently. The navigation order is set by the platform for each profile type.
What is the notification bell for? The notification bell in the top bar shows you platform activity — for example, a recruiter shortlisting your application, a new event invitation, or a file that has been shared with you.
What does "Explore" mean, and how do I get there? Explore is the outward-facing part of the platform where you can browse and search. You reach it via the Search and Marketplace links in your sidebar.
