Who this is for: Anyone signing up to Cine Talent India for the first time. What you'll learn: How to fill in the sign-up form, verify your email address, and what happens the moment you land on the platform.

Overview

Creating an account takes just a few minutes. You fill in your details, confirm your email address by clicking a link we send you, and then you are taken to your personal workspace where you can set up your first profile.

How to create your account
  1. Open the Cine Talent India website and tap Sign up (or Create Account) on the welcome screen.
  2. Fill in the sign-up form. You will need to provide:
    • A username — this is your permanent handle on the platform. It must start with a letter and can contain letters, numbers, and underscores (3–50 characters). The form checks availability as you type and shows a green tick when your chosen username is free.
    • A password — at least 8 characters. Use the eye icon to toggle visibility.
    • Confirm password — re-enter the same password to prevent typos.
    • Your display name — the name other people on the platform will see (for example, your full name or professional name).
    • Your email address.
    • Your date of birth.
    • Your gender.
  3. Tap Create Account. The button stays grey until a valid username is confirmed as available.
  4. You will see a confirmation screen saying "Check your email." A verification link has been sent to the address you provided.
  5. Open your email inbox, find the message from Cine Talent India, and click the confirmation link inside it.
  6. The link opens the platform in your browser. The page briefly shows "Confirming your email…" while it activates your account.
  7. Once confirmed, you are taken straight to your account — either to accept the platform's terms and policies (on first sign-in), or directly to your profile manager page.
What happens next

After email verification, your account is active. The platform may ask you to read and accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy before you can continue. Once you accept, you arrive at the profile manager page, where you can create your first profile and choose what you want to do on the platform (perform, recruit, or offer services).

Common questions

I didn't receive the verification email. What should I do? Check your spam or junk folder first — confirmation emails sometimes land there. Make sure you entered the correct email address during sign-up. If the email still has not arrived after a few minutes, try signing up again with the same details; a new verification link will be sent.

I entered the wrong email address. Can I fix it? If you have not yet verified your email, sign up again with the correct address. The previous unverified account will not be activated.

What does clicking the verification link actually do? It proves that you own the email address you provided and activates your account. Until the link is clicked, you cannot log in.

I clicked the link but got an error saying the link is invalid. Verification links expire after a limited time. If the link has expired, start the sign-up process again to receive a fresh link.

Do I need to verify my email every time I log in? No. Verification is a one-time step when you first create your account. After that, log in with your username (or email) and password as normal.

What is a username vs. a display name? Your username is your unique identifier on the platform — it appears in your profile's public ID and cannot be changed after registration. Your display name is the human-readable name shown to others and can be updated in your profile settings at any time.
