Overview

Your workspace has a Settings page where you can control how your account and profile behave. Settings are personal to you — changes you make here affect only your account.

Profile visibility

The most important setting on this page controls whether your profile is discoverable by other members.

  • Show my profile in search — When this is turned on, your profile appears in search results and can be found by other CTI members. When it is turned off, your profile is hidden from search. You can still log in and use all your workspace features regardless of this setting.

To change your visibility:

  1. Go to your workspace and select Settings from the sidebar.
  2. Find the Visibility section.
  3. Toggle Show my profile in search on or off.
  4. The change takes effect immediately — a confirmation message confirms the update.
Appearance (coming soon)

Settings for display theme and colour mode are planned. These options will let you switch between light and dark mode and choose a colour theme. This section is not yet active.

Common questions

My profile is set to visible but I am not appearing in search. Why? Visibility being turned on is only one requirement. Your profile also needs to be sufficiently complete before it appears in search results. Check your Profile page — if there is a completeness banner, it will tell you which sections still need to be filled in.

Can I hide my profile from search temporarily without losing my data? Yes. Toggling visibility off hides your profile from search results but does not delete or change any of your profile information. Toggle it back on at any time to reappear.

Where do I change my password or login details? Login details (such as your password) are managed through the account authentication system. Look for a "Change password" or "Account" option in the settings area or on the sign-in screen. If you cannot find it, contact support.

Can I change my profile type (e.g. from Aspirant to Recruiter) in Settings? No. Profile type is set when a profile is created and cannot be changed afterwards. You can create an additional profile with a different type from the profile switcher at the top of your workspace.

Can I delete my account from Settings? Account deletion is handled by support. Contact the CTI support team if you want to delete your account.
